REST IN FORWARD

Lord how we need You in this hour
Please keep us by Your power
Show us Your will and Your way
As we abide in Your love today

Let the “gold” that You spoke of
Shine forth by Your love
Keep evil far at bay
As we in Your protection stay

Tell Your wonderful story of grace
For it is only in You that we take our place
We trust only Your approval and wisdom
Keep is in You and in Your mission

Our hope and our song is sung
By Your help, You are the ONE
You keep our hearts in the right direction
It is by Your love and voice of correction

So keep on speaking to us
Our ears are open and our lives are Yours
It is only in You that we are safe
Protect what is Yours in this place

You keep the records, and You know the score
The future is Yours, You know what is in store
Our lives are hid in You oh blessed Lord
It is in You, for You alone are our reward

Let us sing a love song of worship
To You our maker we sing
Let our voice Your praises ring
Let our lives tell the story of love and grace

For it is only in You that we take our place
So sing me a love song sweet and mild
As I rest in You and am Your child

I wait in Your presence Oh Holy King
I await what You say – What You sing

I sing that you are indeed my child
And I love you all the while
That I will keep you safe and secure
Do not worry fret or toil

Stop the wandering in the night
Thinking of the enemy’s designed plight
All your enemies I do fight
Rest in Me your Lord and Might

There is a “rest” that is found
As you seek Me let My love resound
Let it ring in your heart and mind
Keep you sound, secure and Mine

No enemy can steel you away
You are Mine and in Me you will stay
I see  Your heart and your will is to obey
It is Me you seek and to Me that you pray

I am the keeper of the heart
That puts Me first from the start
It is grace that I impart
My love is available
In Me you are able
To Keep on focus
So arise and “rest”
I’ll do the rest
