At Peter’s sermon and in light of the mighty witness of the miracle of tongues, conviction fell and 3,000 converts were baptized into the Kingdom of God. This is exciting because at Sinai when the Law was written in stone and broken, 3,000 were slain (Exodus 32:28).

The Mission Mandate

The Last Will and Testament of Jesus is the Great Commission found in Matthew 28. It is to evangelize and to make disciples everywhere, to do all of the things that Jesus did, teach the ways He taught, command the way He commanded, live the way He lived, to do just like Him by the power of the Holy Spirit.

In our society the respect for mans’ last will and testament is taken seriously and lawfully where as the Last Will and Testament of Jesus Christ is disregarded and not taken seriously. I think that it is because we have not grasp the “Kingdom concept” of our Lord Jesus Christ. If He were our King, we would “obey” Him.

The Great Commission

The Great Commission of Matthew 28 is the last will and testament, a mandate for Christ’s disciples then and now. It can only be fulfilled by us through our co-operation and obedience to the Holy Spirit of God and working in conjunction with Jesus and His Body in the earth.

The Inclusive Church

The church can become more inclusive by loving and receiving those that Jesus loves and receives. The key is to stay in right relationship with Jesus Christ and the church leadership and with one another under the divinely set, fivefold ministry of the local church, and began functioning and operating in the individual callings and gifting within the body of Christ in conjunction with the leadership and the rest of the church body.

Building Bridges

Building bridges means that you must come outside of the safe walls of the worship center and find a way to cross multi-cultural lines by building relationships with an evangelism mentality.

I thank God for His righteous blood
The Holy Son of God above
Who came to cleanse us from sin and shame
By the power of His Name

His power and His strong arm
Is able to keep us from all harm
As we arise to hide in Him
Freed from shame and freed from sin

Only by our trust in Him for He paid the price
And offered Himself as our sin sacrifice
He laid down His life and took it up again
So that we could arise with Him to rule and reign

I will not fear what man can do
I’ll look to God and to Him be true
He is the Way the Truth and the Life
It is only in Him that I’ll abide

Obedience to Him and to His will
Is what we seek and will come closer still
Oh mighty savior Lord and King
Let Your praises ring it is to You that we sing

We will tell the old old story of Jesus and His love.

The Lord Reigns On High

Psalm 93

“The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty;

the LORD is robed in majesty

and is armed with strength.

The world is firmly established;

it cannot be moved.

Your throne was established long ago;

you are from all eternity.

The seas have lifted up, O LORD,

the seas have lifted up their voice;

the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.

Mightier than the thunder of the great waters,

mightier than the breakers of the sea–

the LORD on high is mighty.

Your statutes stand firm;

holiness adorns your house

for endless days, O LORD.” NIV

In these troubled times it is so good to

know that the Lord Reigns. It is our

honor and privilege to serve the Lord.

He is the maker and the builder of

time, space, the world and all that in

it is. What a mighty God we serve! Let

us take to heart Philippians the fourth

chapter and think of the good things

and let the God of all peace guard

our minds and hearts.

REST IN FORWARD

Lord how we need You in this hour
Please keep us by Your power
Show us Your will and Your way
As we abide in Your love today

Let the “gold” that You spoke of
Shine forth by Your love
Keep evil far at bay
As we in Your protection stay

Tell Your wonderful story of grace
For it is only in You that we take our place
We trust only Your approval and wisdom
Keep is in You and in Your mission

Our hope and our song is sung
By Your help, You are the ONE
You keep our hearts in the right direction
It is by Your love and voice of correction

So keep on speaking to us
Our ears are open and our lives are Yours
It is only in You that we are safe
Protect what is Yours in this place

You keep the records, and You know the score
The future is Yours, You know what is in store
Our lives are hid in You oh blessed Lord
It is in You, for You alone are our reward

Let us sing a love song of worship
To You our maker we sing
Let our voice Your praises ring
Let our lives tell the story of love and grace

Faith is what I am looking for!

Faith is what I am looking for
Because I have so much in store
I long to reveal and to give to you
The treasure of My self in Spirit and in Truth

Move out and forward to new heights and depths
You have not completed the race nor are you finished yet
I have more for you in the journey of life
Put behind you the petty strife

The sun is shinning above the clouds of rain
I am bringing you up higher and higher
So let go of all that makes man mightier
Give the reigns to Me and allow Me to direct
If you are hidden in Me you won’t wreck
I know the direction to take
Trust Me for there is a lot at stake
I am your defense and have the scope
You see, your trust is not in man, but in Me, take hope
Arise and be free go forward in Me with peace, power and
victory
It is what I declare to thee!
